Where Laundry B Began

Hi, I am Joanna Kreisler. I am in my 50's, and I am the founder and CEO of Laundry B.

Laundry B was created 20 years ago from a background in textile design, a lifelong love of fashion, and from listening carefully to women, and what I saw and heard time and again was this: our ladies never stopped loving clothes, but the industry often stopped loving them back. Our bodies constantly change, lives shift, priorities evolve, yet high street fashion rarely adapts with us.

I live in Cheshire with my husband and our three children, and like so many of the women we dress, my life is full, busy and layered. I know how important it is for clothes to work hard, to feel good, look modern and remove the daily question mark of " Can I wear this?"

Laundry B is for women who still love fashion and never stopped!

The People Who Wear the Story

Our Laundry B customers are confident and quietly cool. They do not need permission to wear what they like. Their lifestyle may be less work-focused these days, their bodies may fluctuate, but their sense of style and love of fashion remain. They now value comfort equally as much as style, quality as much as creativity, and they dress for themselves.

We specialise in beautifully cut, Made in Italy clothes that are designed to work with the body, not against it. Our collections are rooted in thoughtful shape, premium natural fabrics and a relaxed, layered way of dressing, sometimes referred to as Lagenlook clothing, though I prefer to think of it as intelligent, modern fashion that allows movement whilst looking individual.

Where Fabric Meets Fit

For us, one size is not a compromise; it is considered a design. Our shapes are intentionally generous and fluid, allowing for weight fluctuations without the need for a "fat wardrobe" and a "thin wardrobe". This is fashion that adapts to you, offering longevity, ease, and excellent cost-per-wear. We dress women, not mannequins.

Fabric always comes first. We work closely with small Italian producers renowned for their pure cottons, linen and viscose, creating limited-run collections that feel boutique, personal, and never overproduced. These are clothes designed to be worn, loved and lived in, not saved for the best.

Laundry B is especially loved by women navigating life after children, through menopause and beyond, a time when bodies change, and confidence often deepens. Our Lagenlook clothing is ageless, not age-denying. Modern, not trend-led. Calm, effortless fashion with nothing to prove.

The Details Make the Difference

More than a boutique, Laundry B is a community. Through daily livestreams and honest, expert styling advice, we help women build capsule wardrobes that truly work. We encourage trying new shapes, refining personal style, and rediscovering the joy of getting dressed. It is basically an old-fashioned personal styling service done the new way. Our customers do not just shop here; they connect and support one another, and form lasting friendships.

Most importantly: getting dressed should never feel like a battle again. Once you discover Laundry B, it becomes simpler, more enjoyable, and far more you.

If you are here, I would love you to explore our collections and take a moment to read our reviews on Trustpilot and Google. They tell our story far better than I ever could.

Welcome to Laundry B

Joanna
